Tuxford House Hotel Review – Tuxford House Hotel Blackpool has lovely comfortable accommodations with good home cooking and a friendly family atmosphere. We are ideally situated in the main holiday area on Alexandra Road just off the Promenade between South and Central Piers and close to all the main attractions – Blackpool Pleasure Beach Sandcastle/Waterworld & Blackpool Tower. Waterloo Road and Bond Street shopping area just a few minutes walk as well as a JD Weatherspoon pub – The Auctioneer – with great value food & drinks. Rooms tasefully decorated br / br / – please note No Smoking. We provide a choice of spacious and comfortable ensuite and standard rooms all with hospitality tray and home cooked breakfast -availabe. Free Wi-Fi internet hotspot for our guests with laptops. You are welcome to eat your takeaway in our dining room – plates cutlery and condiments provided! br / br / Peak holiday weekends we ask if you can book at least a 2 nights stay. br / br / A later check in is available with prior arrangement. br / br / If you are held up in traffic – just phone and we will wait up for you!

Motorway M6 / M55 – Road: From the M55 go straight on at roundabout (silver figures) following signs to South Shore & Main car parks – Yeadon Way straight on at Total petrol roundabout right at next roundabout passing Aldi on left left and left at lights still passing Aldi on left. Cross bridge over Yeadon Way turn right at roundabout into Lytham Road(you ll see Blackpool Tower in the distance) Alexandra Road is the 5th on left before a hotel with blue painted masonry. br/ br/ South Station – Train: Ther is an hourly service to Blackpool South station from Preston (service from Colne) Walk up ramp/steps onto Waterloo Road turn left (past Apollo Bingo) turn right at roundabout (Royal Oak Pub & Walk towards Blackpool Tower) Alexandra Road is the 5th road on left. 5 minutes.walk. Please note the previous stop Pleasure Beach Station is a good 15 minutes walk. br/ br/ North Station – Train: At least 20 min walk we suggest taking a taxi About £8 (Private hire – Premier cabs 01253 401000) Bus No 16 stop in station yard. Royal Oak nearest stop (close South Station) 4 mins walk.From roundabout walk towards Blackpool Tower and Alexandra Road is 5th on Left Tuxford House is 100m on left. br/ br/ Blackpool Airport – Air: Take road opposite Airport – Lytham Road. Taxis reccommended. Around £8 Straight on for 1.5 miles straight on at roundabout then 5th road on left. Tuxford house is 100m on left By bus cross main road into Lytham Road l(eft hand side) No 11 bus ask for Alexandra road .service very 10 minutes. Stage coach run on this route as well.
