  1. Excellent value for money

    Excellent value for money, rooms are minimalistic but has everything you need, clean and airy also in ideal location for town centre with a 24 hour Asda and Sainsbury’s both within 5 mins walking distance. All bar one staff member were really friendly an went above and beyond to make your stay as you want it. I only have 3 complaints 1st complaint is our room was right next to the very noisy main road which woke me on more than 10 occasions during in our 3 day stay we had to keep our window open due to the June heat which brings me to my 2nd complaint which is they had a limited amount of fans when I asked for one I was told that they had all been given out and they were waiting on ordering more which should for hotel management be a priority at this time of year. My 3rd complaint is about a female manager, she is an Asian lady with I think blondish coloured hair, she was very rude and very unhelpful, me and my partner popped out and when we came back we need our room keys charging and we asked the receptionist to charge them she asked us our room number then for the name on the booking we told her the name and she said it didn’t match which was when I realised the Asian manager was just booking another couple into our room we paid cash on our 2nd night to spend a 3rd night in the same room but even though we had paid apparently our booking hadn’t been confirmed as we were talking about our name not matching our receptionist asked the manager what to do and was rudely told to wait as she realised she was booking them into our room she changed that our receptionist ended up having to deal with the problem on her luckily she was ver professional about it. Later on the same day me and my partner had got a drink from a drinks machine in the restaurant went back to our room an came out hours later to get another drink when the same manager appeared and rudely told us she had seen us getting drinks from the machine a few times an we weren’t supposed to we needed to pay. Well 1 we had only had 1 drink from that machine in our entire stay 2 the machine does not state anywhere that you have to pay and 3 she could have been more polite about it instead of making us feel like we had been caught stealing and she could have told us the 1st time she saw us doing it and 4 she then proceeded to take the hot chocolate for herself when we told her we didnt have any money left instead of saying now’s uv made it you can have it but don’t do it again. However pleasant my stay was her rudeness has put me off ever coming back here.
