On Arrival the reception staff were warm and welcoming,
I was booked for a 2 night stay . The hotel was very busy with wedding in attendance,
Breakfast the next day was a completely unorganised no tables , and no breakfast items left ? Staff were literally run off there feet (short staffing maybe ).
So no breakfast today ! (Having already paid for in advance ) after returning to the hotel from a trip out I couldn’t get into hotel room ? Reception staff was very bold in stating I should of checked out earlier? I pointed out I was staying for two nights he promptly issued me with two pass cards but sadly NO APOLOGY!
Housekeeping was very slow and didn’t offer to service my room until late afternoon 330 .
The WiFi signal and tv signal basically doesn’t work so if you fancy a bit of tv before bed sorry no tv or WiFi here !!
At the bar in the evening no ice !!! And it’s a hot weekend staff stated the wedding guests had preference ? Which made me feel insignificant!! Whereas the bar staff in the evening stated it was the hotels fault for not supplying sufficient goods when there are 4 weddings booked and paying guests ?
Breakfast this morning although very quiet was just the same unorganised shambles no hot food no plates etc , so in two night stay still no breakfast this morning!!!!!!!!!!!
The cleanliness of the room was a 7 dirty bathroom no toilet brush and oops COLD WATER !! if you fancy a hot bath ?
The hotel itself is in a beautiful setting and the overall room itself was lovely
It’s very sad that the staff let the hotel down significantly !
Have pride in your work people’s as without us you wouldn’t be employed!!
The hotels wifi is probably a simple fix for the maintenance team at the hotel which needs prioritising . Would I stay here again ????? Probably NOT !!!! It was disappointing
