Parkside Hotel Review – Fully refurbished friendly family run hotel ideally situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park the Parkside Hotel offers modern accommodation views of the Fells free WiFi and free onsite parking. Located right on the C2C cycle path just past Cleator Moor – a perfect stop over for Coast to Coast cyclists particularly for those arriving later in the day. Dip your wheels in the harbour at Whitehaven and then travel the short distance to Parkside for an early start the following day with a full Cumbrian Breakfast included to see you on your way.

M6 – Road: Turn off at Junction 40 (Penrith/Keswick/Brough) from the M6 and take the A66 to Cockermouth then follow the A5086 through Frizington The Parkside Hotel will be on the right hand side just before you reach Cleator Moor. br/ br/ Whitehaven – Train: Northern Rail run regular services from Carlisle to Barrow. Guests will have the option to take a taxi or bus (31) to the Parkside. Taxis are usually available outside the station or the taxi rank and bus stop are located a short walk away next to the Bransty Arch (Wetherspoons pub).
