Fullards Farm

Hotel Description

Fullards Farm Review – Fullards Farm in Woodhurst near St Ives and Huntingdon offers good quality bed and breakfast accommodation with evening meals available by prior request. Free Wi-Fi is provided and there is a ground floor room available for B&B or Self-Catering which is suitable for those with limited mobility. There are also two rooms in the farmhouse itself which are on the same corridor and can be arranged as super king doubles or twin beds. Across the fields from St. Ives in Cambridgeshire Woodhurst is a fine example of a Saxon Ring Village retaining its tight little street layout and encircling road of a type found in dense woodland about 1300 years ago. The woods have long since disappeared but the overall circle road is still there. A pair of fire hooks used to remove the thatch from burning buildings are preserved on a wall in the village. There has been a church in the village since before the Conquest and parts of the present building date from the 12th Century. Fullards Farm is located within easy access of A14 A1 St Ives HuntngdonCambridge and Peterborough. It is 3.5 miles to the attractive riverside market town of St Ives with Park & Ride and Guided Busway to Cambridge City Centre. It is only 20 miles to the historic university city of Cambridge.
