Charlton Twenty-Eight Review
Charlton Twenty-Eight Review – Charlton 28 offers spacious luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and is owned by Trevor and Julie Cammack. The property is a Grade II listed Duchess Cottage dating back to the 18th century – formerly the village bakery and lies at the foot of the South Downs National Park. Breakfast is served in your own personal dining room. We are only a few minutes drive away from Chichester Festival Theatre Petworth House & Park hosting a wonderful collection of Turner paintings Arundel Castle & Earls Garden Upppark House and many more National Trust Houses and Goodwood which plays host to many major international events including the Festival of Speed the Goodwood Revival and of course the horse racing at Glorious Goodwood making us a perfect location for your stay. For an evening meal or maybe a light lunch you will find plenty of very good friendly local country pubs in and around Charlton itself. The Fox Goes Free (walking distance) The Star and Garter at East Dean (1 mile). All serve excellent home cooked food 7 days a week. And if perhaps you are celebrating a special occasion we would recommend The Royal Oak.
